About

Classically trained through college and ateliers, Sirun’s paintings have been selected in multiple national and local juried art shows since 2002, as well as by private collectors. She also had two solo shows with galleries in Houston, TX in 2006 and 2012 respectively.

Sirun is currently a MFA candidate majoring in painting at the New York Academy of Art, the world’s leading figurative graduate art school. She wishes to continue creating bodies of high-quality paintings with contemporary discourse, as well as taking an active role in the contemporary art world.

 

2017 – TA/monitor at the Art Students League of New York

2016 – Curated Exhibition “Portraits and Perspective” as member of the Student Curatorial Committee 

2016 – Started MFA 2018 candidate majoring in painting at the New York Academy of Art

2016 – Accepted as one of the twelve artists to be published in the Artist Catalogue magazine NYC Spring 2016 issue, New York, NY
